Sheila Obiaju
Criminal Defense Attorney
Sheila graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where she was recognized for her academic achievements by both the Dean’s List and President’s List. She then went on to attend the University of Tulsa College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she regularly competed in moot court competitions and received the Order of the Barristers for excellence in legal advocacy for her work representing the University of Tulsa’s College of Law at the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition.
After law school, she moved to West Texas where she was able to hone and refine her skills as a litigator in a small but competitive market by vigorously drafting and arguing persuasive motions while also securing favorable resolutions for her clients as a criminal defense and family law attorney. She has since been able to transfer those skills towards cases involving complex post-conviction writs, general civil litigation, insurance defense, probate litigation, employment, and commercial disputes.
With her fervent work ethic, obsessive attention to detail, and experience developing favorable resolutions for clients from all walks of life, Sheila remains committed to helping her clients achieve success both inside and outside the courtroom as their needs dictate.
